Introducing Me: My Nature Photography

I'm a college student with a sense of adventure...and mad photo skills! Here are some pictures taken this spring, at my college campus. I really enjoy taking pictures of nature and focusing on the little details that make going outside the highlight of my day.

The two pictures above are leaves from a small Sugar Maple that's right outside our college museum. The next two photographs are from two different Oak trees.

I spy a spider on some lilacs!

Over the course of this month (what little of it we have left), I'm planning on putting my best pictures forward, and then my real blogging can start.

[Insert Witty Title for Introduction Post Here]

There once was a woman who led a forlorn, uncertain life...but then it occurred to her, as she leafed through the many current tales of the past...that people might welcome the novelty of a journal written by an ordinary woman.  And thus, the college student was inspired to write a blog, not from peer pressure, not from her love of the internet, but from a quote from an introspective journal circa 954-968 C.E.

This blog will hopefully be host to a myriad of different thoughts, ideas, and most importantly, pictures. I absolutely adore photography, so be on the lookout as I try and combine my love of all things Heian (794-1185 C.E.) with my photography skills. It's sure to be interesting!
